Customary head of Afaraukwu people group in Umuahia North Local Government Area of Abia State have approached the state government to help them in searching for pioneer of the Indigenous People of Biafra, Nnamdi Kanu and his folks.
They deplored that Kanu, his mom and dad, who is the customary leader of the town, got missing after the September 10 attack of Kanu's people group.
As indicated by them, the vanishing of Eze Israel Kanu, his better half and child for over three weeks after the warriors' attack was giving them restless evenings.
An individual from Eze Kanu's bureau, Chimechefulam Odoemelam, revealed to Punch that he was stressed over the vanishing of the ruler and his relatives.
He stated, "in all actuality we have not seen or gotten notification from our Eze since we as a whole returned. Everyone is befuddled about his whereabouts since we don't know where to search for him.
"We have revealed the case to the assortment of customary rulers in Ibeku, Umuahia kingdom where we have a place and our Chairman, Eze Henry Ezekwem, has guaranteed to give us a date to meet him on the issue.
"We are trusting that the Abia State Council of Traditional Rulers which he (Eze Kanu) is a part will likewise loan their voice in requesting his whereabouts."
