The Lagos State Police Command has denied the arrest of popular cross-dresser, Idris Okuneye, nicknamed Bobrisky.

 

The state Commissioner of Police, Edgal Imohimi, told our correspondent that there was no truth in the story that Bobrisky was arrested by the police.

He said that Bobrisky had no problem with the police and could not have been invited for any interrogation.

Following his admittance of being gay via his social media platform, bloggers reported that Bobrisky had been arrested by the police.

But in swift reaction by the Police Public Relations Officer for Zone 2 Command, Onikan, Lagos, SP Dolapo Badmos, there was nothing of such.
