I owe no one any apology for erecting South African President, Jacob Zuma in my State

Rochas Okorocha, Governor of Imo State, has said he owes no expression of remorse for raising the statue of the South African President, Jacob Zuma in his state. 

Okorocha said the explanation behind raising the statue was to support business connection between the state and South Africa. 

The senator clarified that Zuma was in the state essentially to sign a Memorandum of Understanding, MoU, between the Jacob Zuma Educational Foundation and Rochas Foundation College of Africa. 

He made the comment while chiding those censuring him for raising the picture of the South African president. 

In an announcement by his Chief Press Secretary, Sam Onwuemeodo, the representative additionally denounced the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, of not building the picture of the state, while plundering open treasury. 

As indicated by the announcement, the PDP never pulled in any important identity to the state. 

The announcement peruses, "On the off chance that it was in the times of PDP, Schools and Markets would have been shot down. What's more, streets shut in light of the fact that President Zuma was coming. Yet, none of such things was done on the grounds that Rochas and his legislature have human face. 

"The PDP for the 12 years they held influence never pulled in any important guest to the State aside from PDP NEC individuals who were coming to plunder the State.
