BIAFRA: The New strategy; approach, Discuss, Negotiate, & Make Concession for International Alliance -- Russell Bluejack

Today, I want us (in the IPOB) to adopt a strategy that will enable us circumvent the mistakes of the 60s. Yes, we failed to court interested countries prior to and during the Civil War, leaving Nigeria to assemble France, Britain, Cameroon et al. Grapevine has it that our own hero, Ojukwu, vehemently opposed the idea of subletting some of the resources in the region for international alliance.

It was one mistake that could have been avoided. Let me make this clear here and now: there is no international war, such as ours, that is fought without alliance. Struggles like ours are always fraught with international alliance(s). The question is, how do we court these countries? How do we sing the song with the needed mellifluous voice that will attract them to us? Well, the answer cannot be farfetched, since that is what this piece today is meant to divulge. Read on, brothers and sisters.

First, we must note that international alliance is about interest(s). Every country you see in the world has one interest or another, and it is the job of others that need them to uncover this interest and reach a gentleman agreement with them. The Biafra case has gone past local rallies and regional outreaches. I am in no way discouraging these local efforts, but I think more energy should be dissipated on the international front, for therein lies the final battle that will give us Biafra. To this end, I enjoin every stakeholder in the IPOB project to galvanize efforts towards reaching out to France, Russia, the US, Israel, Japan, and China. Turkey has been showing signs of interest. It is time to tackle the diplomatic business wing of this struggle. It is time to make project Biafra the most mouthwatering international project for the onward boarding of nations with burning interests. That time is now, brothers and sisters.

Next, upon reaching out to these nations, we must find out what it will take for them to work with us for the actualization of Biafra. There are those that will love to be contractors in our emerging nation. We must ascertain their contractual interest and yield accordingly. Of course, we need expatriates to build our nation, no doubt about that. There are those that need oil and other mineral resources. Our job is to inform them that Biafra is the real economic mainstay of Nigeria, the reason the atrophying Nigeria is fighting tooth and nail to keep us against our will. Tell them we have everything they need and that we are willing to concede the percentage that is reasonable on leasehold. Yes, we shall tell them that they will be entitled to the agreed percentage of our resources for a period of time. I said leasehold because no nation is truly without untrammelled autonomy. There must be a time in our existence when we can say we enjoy complete sovereignty.

It is time to get these countries to the negotiation table. The rallies that have been staged all over the world are good, but they are not very impactful. Nations are not moved by moral pleas as much as they are by INTEREST. They may sympathise with you, no doubting that fact, but they put action to word only when their interest is met. Howbeit, I still think it is not late, because when it comes to diplomatic issues, it is always better late than never. I want us to make Nigeria feel very empty. I want us to pledge some of our mineral resources to these potential allies and get ourselves out of the clutching and suppressive grips of Nigeria totus simul (once and for all). We have done the local rallies and reaching out both of which sensitized our heterogeneous people, but it is time to step up. I charge all the functional units of IPOB, our people in the Diaspora, and concerned indigenes of Biafra to channel their human and monetary resources in this regard.

Lastly, it is also time to start teaching out to mainstream media outfits situated in the US and UK. These media outfits must begin to sermonise on Biafra. Some of us dismiss these mainstream media outfits on grounds of unprofessionalism, but fail to see that they still operate without sanction. We need them all now. I just finished seeing a serious corruption piece on NBC, where Buhari's anti-corruption war was shellacked. We need more of that, people. We have died for doing the first stage. Let us be the ones killing them in the second stage of the struggle. As for the terrorism label, every sane and educated person knows that it will not stand. It shall be upturned because of the damage it is doing to the judiciary. We all know that it is a Kangaroo judgment predicated on Chief Justice Abdul Afarati's bid to remain as Acting Chief Judge of Federal High Court. In the demonic and oppressive contraption called Nigeria, legal practitioners do everything humanly feasible to fatten their purses and remain relevant as against being seen as men and women of integrity. I have noticed that the Nigerian Bar Association (NBA) is on a warpath with the said CJ. Did we not tell them that the zoo will fall? Okay, they expected us to fight. Well, we fight intellectually. There is no hope for the zoo. Nigeria is not just a zoo, she is the wildest of them all.

Let our international outreach give us Biafra. Every hand must be on deck. I am grateful to those that have come to me with some international links. I am even happier that our stakeholders outside the shores of Nigeria have taken their time to commence work on those links. Let us continue. We shall get there. The zoo is about to receive the shock of her miserable life. Killing us was the cesspit they walked into. It was a huge mistake. Nigeria will never be the same. They are nonplussed as I write. We shall increase their misery with these international inroads. Let us go at once. It is time to escape with our heads high. All hail Biafra!
