THIS ADJOURNMENT: IMPLICATIONS AND CONCERNS -- Russell Bluejack

Biafrans all over the world should take deep breaths and continue to watch Nigeria sink deeper. Yesterday's Court session had the needed drama that will make the world pay more attention to our agitation. We have written to them, but what happened yesterday is a good thing. Bright Chimezie's wife and brother made the world understand how truly fantastically corrupt Nigeria is. How does one explain the fact that Chimezie was discharged and acquitted by a Court of competent jurisdiction only to be carted away by the unlawful law enforcement agencies? Whoever invented the zoo ascription was economical with the truth. Nigeria is worse than that. Nigeria is indescribable.

Anyway, I am happy that the world can see that all we have told in writing are nothing but the gospel truth. This is a beastly nation in all ramifications. Some of us are not happy that our leader's disappearance was not mentioned in yesterday's hearing. Some have even gone ahead to blame Justice Binta Nyako for it. But I do not think that should be a problem. This case is primarily about his guilt or innocence. The substance can change only when our lawyer brings up a case about the unlawful invasion of his home, which becomes another matter. The safety of his sureties lies ultimately on this new matter. Biafrans should not be afraid. We must win. We are whiter than white. Not even a single charge against us will stand.

I am bothered about Bright Chimezie's disappearance. I am worried that Nigeria has become too lawless for the patience of World Powers. Normally, the litany of evidence adduced against Nigeria should suffice for international invasion. This adjournment sustains the continued torture of those that have been detained unlawfully for years. These unjustly imprisoned persons have families, friends, and numerous obligations that they should respond to. A country where citizens get labeled terrorists for airing their minds is indeed a jungle. We shall keep mounting pressure on the international communities until the right thing is done. These beasts in human form keep someone that is neither a thief nor a terrorist in undisclosed prison facilitaties for years. This is incredible, beloved brothers and sisters.

Justice Binta cannot escape the whip, though. She should know that justice delayed is justice denied. Time is of the essence here, and I think those that think she is doing the biddings of her employers are damn right. How does she sleep at night knowing that the protracted case that gets adjourned unnecessarily is responsible for the sufferings of families? Does she not feel for those that have been detained for years? It appears she does not know that she is the one implicitly punishing these innocent men? By the way, what is the IPOB waiting for? When shall we institute a serious case against the DSS over the obvious disappearance of Bright Chimezie? That should be a new case against the oppressive government.

The world should note that justice will remain an apparition in the most lawless country in the world. I commend everyone of us for the understanding and resoluteness shown thus far. Someone noticed how soft and broken Benjamin had become, but I made it clear that it gets to a point when even the most fierce becomes tired of everything. Do you know what it means to be held captive without a charge? Do you also know what it means to spend a single day in Nigeria's very dinghy prison facility? Our brothers are tired, of course! They are tired of Nigerian judiciary. They are tired of the stench that emanates from their environment. Yes, our unlawfully imprisoned compatriots are sick and tired of these adjournments.

Let us all continue to take solace in the fact that we have cases in international courts. I am very sure that the likes of Buhari and Buratai will be having their day soon. Liberation will come at last. I heard that Sen. Abaribe and the Jewish priest are in trouble over the disappearance of Leader Nnamdi Kanu. Well, these sureties know the law and should use it. We all know what happened and why our leader cannot be found. When that case comes up we shall find out who is responsible for Kanu's whereabouts. The Minister of Defence, having admitted that the Army invaded Mazi Nnamdi Kanu's residence, should be the one to produce him dead or alive. We shall cross that legal bridge when we get there. Sen. Abaribe should be at ease. This cup will pass at the right time. Referendum is not war. Binta, Buhari, and Buratai cannot stop an agitation for freedom. Labeling us whatever cannot stop us either. We are tired of this prison called Nigeria and will do everything possible to go. All hail Biafra!
